Happy 90th!

My grandmother turned 90 this week! We had a birthday party for her with all of my aunts, uncles, and cousins from my mom's side. They live all over the place so it was good to see everyone. I have so much love and respect for my grandma. I live pretty close to her and I'm grateful I get to see her. Whenever I go see her we play the card game Skip-Bo, and she always tries to feed me lots of food. I have so many great memories with her. She has always been so supportive and generous with me. She's never been on a computer so I know she won't read this but I love you Grandmother!

Ericka's Wedding and a New Do

One of my best friends Ericka got married on Saturday. It was such a beautiful wedding and is was so special to see her get sealed. Ericka - I love you so much and I am so happy for you and Wes!

Me, Jade, Stacie, and Bags (We missed you Tam and Lindsay!)

Ericka looked gorgeous in her dress!

I chopped about 9 inches off my hair. It feels weird to have it so short but I am getting used to it. I found a place to donate my hair that only requires 8 inches, most require more. If anyone is interested in trying a new haircut and donating their hair, click here.

Lagoon Day!

Last week Randy and I went to Lagoon with my two sisters and their families. My brother-in-law's work had free tickets. None of us had been there for years and years so it was a lot of fun to go on the new rides. Our favorite was the new roller coaster Wicked, it was so fun! We also took my two little nephews that are 4 and 2 on some of the kid's rides. I didn't have my camera with me but they were so cute on the rides together.

Provo River 1/2 Marathon

My mom, Randy, and I ran the Provo River 1/2 Marathon on Saturday. It was Randy's first race ever, he did such a great job. It's 13 miles long and Randy seemed like he could have kept going and going. The three of us finished together in 2 hours and 5 minutes. It's a little hard to walk today but I'm so glad we did it. This is a picture of us before the race.

One Year Anniversary

July 19th was our one year anniversary. It's hard to believe one year has already gone by. Lots of people told us the first year is the hardest but for us it has actually been really great. To celebrate our one year we went up to Midway for a few days and stayed at the Zermatt Resort. We played golf, went swimming and ate lots of yummy food; they have the best éclairs I have ever tasted! Randy took a scuba diving lesson which is something he has always wanted to try and I got a massage. We had so much fun being together and taking it easy. If anyone is looking for a little getaway it is a great place to go.

Girls Night!

Last week my friends and I had a girls night. We had a bridal shower for Ericka and a going away party for Tam and Lindsay. All three are moving away to go to medical school with their husbands. It's sad we're getting scattered everywhere! But what is great about blogs is we can stay in touch with each other. I'm so grateful to have such an amazing group of girls for my best friends. Love you girls!

The Looong Hike

Today Randy and I went with my mom and dad on a 15 mile run/hike up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It is a run my dad does 3-4 times a week to train for the Wasatch 100 Mile Race he runs every September. He asked us to tag along today. It was a difficult but beautiful run. All of the flowers were blooming and there was still snow in some spots so it wasn't too hot. Thanks for letting us come dad, sorry we slowed you down!
