Holiday Pictures
Here are some pictures from our Christmas through New Years. I could give a detailed account of all the fun stuff we did but I'm kind of lazy so I'll just post a few pictures. Hope everyone had a great New Year!

We're Back!
We got back from Paris a few days ago. It was a trip I will always remember. It was so much fun being with Randy and my parents. My mom was our interpreter, she did a great job remembering french. We saw so many amazing things. It was freezing the whole time we were there, we didn't see the sun once! It looks like we wore the same thing everyday b/c we never took our coats and scarves off. But to make up for the cold there were Christmas lights everywhere! So beautiful. Here are some of the highlights:
The Sacre Coeur, my mom's favorite.

Countdown!
It's been awhile since I posted, not much has been going on. But something exciting is coming.... Randy, my parents, and I are going to Paris in less than 3 weeks! I am so excited. I have dreamed about going there since I was little. I can't wait for the museums, crepes, and shopping (if we can afford it). I would love to hear any tips or experiences that anyone has had there. Thanks!

BOO!
Happy Halloween! Randy and I finally carved a pumpkin last night. We wanted to do something a little different so we gave him a mustache. I think he's cute...I have such good memories of Halloween when I was little. My mom would make us chili and bread sticks before we went Trick or Treating. My little sister Katrina would come with me and my friends and we would go as long as we could before we got too cold. Then we would come home and sort out our candy. Katrina and I would trade the candy we didn't like with each other. She would eat all her candy within a couple of days and I would save mine for months. When we were older, she told me that she secretly stole my candy from under my bed.
When I remember things like that I get so excited to start traditions with my kids. Halloween is such a fun time of year! I hope everyone has a happy and safe Halloween!

Mixing It Up
My husband surprised me with this awesome mixer for my birthday. He was so excited to give it to me, I got it right when I woke up before I had even gotten out of bed. I love it! I've already made cinnamon rolls and cookies and I have had it less than a week! I know I need to slow down or my clothes won't be fitting me much longer.
